WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 (UPI) — YouTube star Tillman the English bulldog, known for his various skateboarding and surfing videos, has died. He was 10 years old.
The sport-loving pet’s death was announced by his owner, Ron Davis, via Tillman’s official Facebook page Thursday. Over 100,000 fans have responded with messages of sadness and condolences.
“I’m sorry to announce the world lost a true legend,” the Facebook post read. “My best bud Tillman passed away last night, of natural causes. We spent 10 years making so many incredible memories skating, surfing and hanging out together. No words can truly describe how much he’ll be missed. Thanks for all the good times, Tilly.”
In 2007, Tillman the dog rose to fame as a puppy when a video showing him enjoying an independent ride on a skateboard went viral. As of this week, the original video gained almost 22 million total views.
