Viral Video: Worst Throw of All Time?
PAWTUCKET, RI., – MAY 6, 2015 (GEPHARDT DAILY) – Humberto Quintero, a Venezuelan professional baseball catcher in the Boston Red Sox organization, is now being titled as having the worst throw of all time.
In a game between Triple-A Durham and Quintero’s Pawtucket Red Sox on May 1, Quintero throws a ball into the stomach of Luke Maile. It appears he was trying to throw out Mikie Mahtook who was attempting to steal third but he definitely missed.
Quintero is a 35-year-old MLB Veteran who has played for 5 different MLB teams in his career. He was called to catch the game because the Red Sox catcher had been injured the night before.
