SAN DIEGO, July 14 (UPI) — Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys is looking to shoot a zombie movie, and wants Niall Horan to play his brother.

The boy band alum is currently working on a new movie for Syfy, Dead 7, which would not only include the One Direction singer, but also former bandmate A.J. McLean and ‘NSync alum Joey Fatone.

In an interview with E! News, he said, “I wanted my friends in the film with me. What is more fun than riding horses and being zombies shooting things? Even as a kid I loved horror films, this was always something I wanted to do.”

Carter recently tweeted at Horan asking if he wanted the role.

While there has been no word from Horan on whether he will accept the part, Carter expressed his excitement about working with friends on his project. Entertainment Weekly reports the film will be produced by The Asylum, the same studio who producedSharknado.

Word on when production on the film will begin has yet to be announced.
