DRAPER, UTAH – October 21, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) –  Utah State Prison officials have scheduled a different kind of visitor this week as they prepare for members of the BYU football team to visit and share messages of support and encouragement to their inmates.

According to Brooke Adams, spokesperson for the Department of Corrections, Coach Mendenhall and several of the players are going so they can share spiritual and motivational messages with the inmates and answer questions about their lives and football careers.

Adams further stated that traditionally, the two groups will also join together for several musical numbers.

Coach Bronco Mendenhall and members of the Brigham Young University football team will be visiting with inmates in the Con-Quest program at the Promontory Facility on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015.
