SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – APRIL 8, 2015 — A rollover accident Tuesday caused a car to hit the front of the popular Salt Lake cookie shop, RubySnap but the owners were not about to let that stop them from opening their store early the next morning.

Tami Steggell, co-owner of RubySnap said that they worked all night to repair the damage left from the accident. “We have not slept, we wanted to get the store opened the next morning and we were able to be open for business at 9 a.m. this morning.”

Salt Lake City Police Department responded to an accident that happened at about 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday at 800 South and 300 West. When police arrived, they found the two-car crash sent a car into the front of the store.

According to the store owner’s Facebook the accident occurred after one of the vehicles ran a red light.

There were very minor injuries, and there was no one inside RubySnap at the time.
