Utah Gov. Herbert Orders Flags Lowered For Paris Victims

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – November 15, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Utah Gov. Gary R. Herbert has authorized the lowering of the flag of the United States of America and the flag of the State of Utah to honor the victims of the terrorist attack in Paris, France.

Gov. Herbert issued the following statement: “Jeanette and I express our deepest sympathies to the victims in Paris and to all those who will feel the pain and loss from this tragedy for years to come. Through this small gesture, Utahns from across the state demonstrate that our hearts are united in support of the nation of France during this difficult time.”

The flags will be flown at half-staff until sunset Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015.
