Update: Police locate suspect after KeyBank robbery in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Jan. 9, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police have located a suspect after a robbery at KeyBank in downtown Salt Lake City Tuesday.

Unified Police Department assisted the Salt Lake City Police Department at an address in Taylorsville Sunday, and the suspect, David L. Perkins, 39, was taken into custody and booked into jail for robbery.

The robbery occurred at about 3:55 p.m. at the KeyBank at 410 E. 400 South, according to a news release from the SLCPD.

Perkins entered the bank, produced a note that stated he had a gun, and demanded cash. The teller complied and the suspect fled the bank.
