Coke has made the decision to make your life a little less frustrating by letting you order their Coke bottle with any name on it you want.
Even if you just want to see what it would look like…. go to their website and you can plug in your name and Coke will give you a preview of the bottle.
If you happen to have a really odd name, you can submit a request for Coke to approve your name vie email within just a couple of hours.
Coke first started its “Share a Coke” campaign in 2013 when it mass produced popular names on Coke bottles. Coke saw an outpouring of excitement but when they started to get backlash about the inability to find specific or difficult names or just those with spelling differences, they decided to allow customers to personalize their own.
The ability to order your own name on the bottle started in the summer of 2014, but many people are still not aware they can do this.
The “Share a Coke” campaign is among many of the successful marketing promotions Coke has done including “Coke is It!”, “Catch the Wave” , “Can’t Beat the Feeling” and “Open Happiness”.
