LOS ANGELES, Aug. 26 (UPI) — Cindy Crawford recently posed with husband, Rande Gerber, and their two kids for Vogue.
The 49-year-old American model invited the magazine to the Ontario cottage where her family spends their summers. Crawford shared photos from the September issue this week on Instagram, writing, “Loved having @voguemagazine visit us at the lake this summer.”
“You’re the real you up here,” the star said of her secluded home in the interview. “You never have your game face on, your party face. When you’re getting dragged behind a boat on an inner tube, it’s hard to have much of a facade.”
“I like to think that we’re especially hard-core because we’re island cottagers,” she added. “There’s no getting into the car and going to the movies when it rains … The point here is to slow everything down. Life moves quickly, but it will wait.”
Crawford and Gerber married in May 1998, and are parents to 16-year-old son Presley Gerber and 13-year-old daughter Kaia Gerber. Kaia has followed in her mother’s footsteps, landing a contract with IMG Models in July and posing individually for the Vogue issue.
