SANDY, Utah, Feb. 8, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for a robber who targeted a Sandy Subway Sunday evening.
A news release from Sandy Police said the suspect entered the Subway at 9581 S. 700 East at approximately 6:50 p.m. He approached an employee at the counter, passed a note and demanded money. The suspect said he had a weapon, but did not produce it.
The employee complied with the demands and gave an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect.
The suspect left the business in an unknown direction. No vehicle was seen.
The suspect was described as having tan skin and medium-length black hair. He was about 6-feet-tall with a medium build, and appeared to be in his early 20s. He wore a dark gray hoodie and black coat, a black ski mask, black gloves with a white print pattern, and red shoes.
