MILLCREEK, Utah, Nov. 11, 2022 (Gephardt Daily) — Police have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with an overnight shooting that killed another 18-year-old outside a Millcreek convenience store, police said.
Officers responded about 12:30 a.m. Friday to reports of gunshots in the parking lot of 7-Eleven, 4051 S. State.
Unified police confirmed one person was killed in the exchange of gunfire and later identified him as Talib Ahmed, 18.
On Friday afternoon, police announced they have arrested Husain Musse, 18, for investigation of murder in connection with the shooting. Musse has been booked into the Salt Lake County jail, according to UPD.
