PROVO, Utah, Dec. 7, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A Utah County man who pleaded guilty to child abuse homicide in the death of a high school friend, and who recorded her suicide on a cell phone, has been sentenced on the reduced charges.

Tyerell Przybycien, 19, was sentenced to five years to life in prison in the death of 16-year-old Jchandra Brown, of Spanish Fork. Pryzbycien encouraged her to hang herself, which she did on May 6, 2017, after evidence shows he bought her a rope and drove her to a wooded rural area.

Pryzbycien also was sentenced to up to five years for the sexual exploitation of a minor after investigating officers found images of child pornography on his phone. Judge James Brady ordered the sentences to run concurrently, with credit for time served.

Brown’s mother, Sue Bryan, reacted to the jail sentence outside the courtroom at noon on Friday.

“I would like to see him be there forever, I’m not going to lie,” she said.

“I’m still overwhelmed,” she said. “I am missing my daughter. Like I said in the courtroom, there is really is no true justice, because only true justice would be having my daughter back in my arms.

“I can’t describe the pain of losing a child,” Brown said. “There are no words. I died when she died.”‘

  1. What is this world coming to when a useless piece of human trash like this degenerate gets a mere 5 yrs when under certain curcumstances stealing a car can get you a longer sentence? It’s just wrong.
