Tech Five: Industry Prepares For CES
Wall Street kicks off the first full week of 2015, while the tech industry converges on Las Vegas for the International Consumer Electronics Show. Let’s take a look at the technology stocks to watch Monday:

Intel. Fingerprint sensors are so last year. A new app from the chip maker will let users replace traditional passwords with facial recognition technology to log in to websites. It will start previewing the True Key app this month.
Hewlett-Packard. It’s a display bonanza from the personal computer maker. The company unveiled multiple displays at CES, including devices that support 4K and 5K. HP also revealed a virtual reality display where users can manipulate 3D images.
Nvidia. The chip maker that specializes in processors for computers and other gear is making a move into your car. The company announced the Tegra X1, a mobile “super chip” that will power their Nvidia Drive platform for cars. The platform boasts features including Auto Valet, which would let a user call their car back with an app.
Google. Company-owned smart thermostat Nest signed a slew of partners ahead of CES, including August Smart Lock (change temperature when you lock or unlock your home) and Philips Hue (lights flash on and off when the Nest Protect detects something wrong).
GoPro. Will the topsy-turvy ride for the high-definition camera maker continue? Shares of GoPro closed Friday at $66.87, up 24% since December 19.
