SAN DIEGO, July 22 (UPI) — Cara Delevingne is changing her signature look.

The 23-year-old British model and actress surprised fans by debuting short hair Thursday at San Diego Comic-Con. Delevingne revealed a new, lob haircut while promoting “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.”

“[I did it] this morning,” she told Entertainment Tonight while walking the red carpet with “Valerian” co-star Dane DeHaan. “I cut his hair, too. We do each other’s.”

Delevingne, who previously sported long, flowing locks, had teased the change hours earlier on Instagram. She captioned a photo of her cut strands with a haircutting emoji and later credited stylist Mara Roszak.

The “Suicide Squad” star gave a haircut of her own to a passerby on Wednesday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” The woman, Grace, allowed the actress to shave her head.

“Valerian” is based on the Pierre Christin comic series “Valerian and Laureline” and opens in theaters July 21, 2017. The movie follows the characters (DeHaan and Delevingne) as they travel through space and time.

“I kick [expletive]!” the actress told MTV in April. “I love it so much. My kind of tomboy comes out. It’s kind of always what I wanted to do, especially as a kid, I feel like I’m kind of living my dream.”

Delevingne is also slated to play Enchantress in “Suicide Squad.” The DC Entertainment-Warner Bros. movie released a new trailer featuring Jared Leto as the Joker on Thursday.
