HOLLYWOOD – November 12, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — Summit Entertainment (a division of Lionsgate) just released the newest full-length trailer for “The Divergent Series: Allegiant,” starring Shailene Woodley.
The trailer shows Woodley’s character Tris teaming up with Tobias “Four” Eaton, played by Theo James, to defy his mother, played by Naomi Watts.
Also in the cast are Miles Teller as Peter Hayes, Ansel Elgort as Caleb Prior, Octavia Spencer as Johanna Reyes, Ray Stevenson as Marcus Eaton and Zoe Kravitz as Christina.
‘Allegiant’ opens in theaters March 18, 2016 and is based on the series of dystopian novels by Veronica Roth. The final film in the series will be ‘Ascendant.’
The ‘Divergent’ film series earned a combined $586 million at the box office.
Shailene Woodley, who was seen in the films “The Spectacular Now” and “The Fault in Our Stars,” will next be seen in “Snowden” with Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
