SPARKS, Nev., Sept. 24 (UPI) — Former ‘Ghost Adventures’ stars Mark and Debby Constantino were found dead Tuesday along with a third unidentified man in Sparks, Nev.

The estranged couple was found in their daughter’s apartment after a standoff with police. The Constantinos were tracked to that address after the third victim was found dead at Debby’s home.

Arriving at the apartment, officers knocked on the door and heard several shots fired, said Reno police deputy chief Tom Robinson.

According to Nevada’s KTVN, police eventually discovered Debby was being held hostage by Mark. After attempts to negotiate her release failed, police made their way inside and found both already dead.

Police did not mention how the Constantinos were killed and what kind of gun was used.

The couple had a long history of domestic violence, with Mark accused of kidnapping Debby a few months ago. In August, Mark was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery by strangulation, first-degree kidnapping and first-degree domestic battery.

Despite being estranged, the couple shared a Facebook page together, highlighting their careers as “ghost hunters” across several television programs including the Travel Channel hit Ghost Adventures.
