Harvey Weinstein Cleared by DA After Model’s Groping Allegations

Photo by Kevin Dietsch/UPI | License PhotoNEW YORK, April 11 (UPI) — Media mogul Harvey Weinstein will not be charged after a 22-year-old Italian model alleged he groped her against her will during a private meeting about an audition for a lingerie photo shoot.
The Manhattan district attorney’s office decided not to prosecute the famed film producer after it wrapped its intense two-week investigation, the New York Daily News reported Friday.
“We are pleased this episode is behind us,” Risa Heller, Weinstein’s representative, told the newspaper, declining to comment any further on the case.
