“Jurassic Park” Roadblock Broadcast Planned on NBCUniversal TV Stations June 5-6
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., May 31 (UPI) — Steven Spielberg and Chris Pratt are to host a roadblock television broadcast of the original Jurassic Park movie, as well as a sneak preview of the upcoming sequel Jurassic World, on June 5-6.
“Spielberg and Pratt will share their respective memories of Jurassic Park and drive to a debut of a two-minute exclusive sneak preview of Jurassic World, which will air during the program,” Universal Pictures said in a news release.
The first opportunity to see new material from the fourth movie in the series will be on June 5, beginning at 8 p.m. EDT/PDT on NBC. The following evening at 8 p.m. EDT/PDT, the program will air on NBC’s sister stations Bravo, Syfy, USA Network and E!
For its part, NBC UNIVERSO will telecast a Spanish-language version of 1993’s Jurassic Park.
Pratt stars in Jurassic World, which is set for release June 12. Spielberg is a producer on the film franchise and directed the first two installments in it.
