Feb. 6 (UPI) — Melissa McCarthy made a surprise appearance on this weekend’s edition of Saturday Night Live.

The “Bridesmaids” and “Mike & Molly” star wore a men’s suit and hairpiece as she played an exaggerated version of White House press secretary Sean Spicer in a sketch set up as a combative media briefing, airing on C-Span.

The clip also features secretary of education nominee Betsy DeVos, as played by Kate McKinnon, and SNL cast members Bobby Moynihan, Cecily Strong, Vanessa Bayer, Alex Moffat and Mikey Day, and guest host Kristen Stewart, as various members of the White House press corps.

The video shows McCarthy/Spicer screaming at reporters, using props to make a point, squirting an interviewer with a water gun and trying to run over one journalist with his podium. It has gotten more than 400,000 views in less than 24 hours.
