EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Nov. 7 (UPI) — Neil Patrick Harris treated his twins to their very first football game Sunday.

The 43-year-old actor and husband David Burtka brought their 6-year-old son and daughter, Gideon and Harper, to see the New York Giants play the Philadelphia Eagles at MetLife Stadium.

“First football game for these two (not quite) giants. Go Big Blue! #nygiants @dbelicious @tizzielisch @mason.lanee,” Harris captioned a photo of his children at the game.

Harris and Burtka welcomed Gideon and Harper via surrogate in 2010 and married in 2014 after 10 years of dating. The actor told Us Weekly he and his kids share a love for Disney while serving as master of ceremonies at the Walt Disney Family Museum gala last week.

“I think what’s most exciting is our kids have grown up with theme parks as a part of their DNA, and that makes me incredibly happy because that was what I got to do as a kid as well,” Harris said.

“Harper’s still all-girl and she’s very into all the princesses. Gideon’s into ‘Star Wars,’ so when we go [to Disneyland] in December, there’s a whole new ‘Star Wars’ land in there, so he’s very excited about that,” he revealed.

“They spend all their time together so it’s a little bit of both [fighting and getting along],” the star added. “They have each other’s backs, but yet they tell on each other — a lot. It’s the yin and yang of twins, I think!”

Harris is known for playing Barney Stinson on “How I Met Your Mother,” and has since appeared on “American Horror Story: Freak Show.” He will star as Count Olaf in Netflix’s forthcoming adaptation of “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events.”
