Selena Gomez Slams Body Critic: ‘You’re Disgusting’
The 22-year-old singer can be seen lambasting one such user in an alleged screengrab making the rounds online. Gomez has been bombarded with comments about her perceived weight gain since being photographed in a bikini in mid-April.
“You’re disgusting,” the star wrote in response to the critic, who has since deleted her profile. “I’m IN the business and I could care less about what ‘they’ or you say I should look like. I don’t need to do anything other than love myself, take care of my work, fans, family and friends.”
Gomez previously responded to critics by sharing a swimsuit photo of herself with the caption, “I love being happy with me yall #theresmoretolove.” Fellow actress Abigail Breslin subsequently came to Gomez’s defense in a blog post, writing, “Selena, you look amazing.”
