March 6 (UPI) — Vanessa Williams will reportedly join Bellamy Young in a new ABC pilot.

The 54-year-old actress and the 48-year-old “Scandal” star will portray cosmetics saleswomen in the forthcoming comedy “False Profits,” according to Deadline.

“False Profits” is described “as ‘Desperate Housewives’ meets ‘Glengarry Glen Ross.'” The series will co-star “Teen Wolf” alum “Shelley Hennig” and “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce” actress Kosha Patel.

The Hollywood Reporter said Williams will play Suzanne, the “chief” of a successful “tribe” of saleswomen who attempts to recruit Laura (Young). The characters clash after Laura starts her own “tribe” in the multi-level marketing cosmetics business.

“Ally McBeal” and “Code Black” producer Kayla Alpert penned the script. She will executive produce with “The Crossing” executive producer Jason Reed and Desperate Housewives executive producer Sabrina Wind.

Williams previously starred on the ABC series “Ugly Betty” and “Desperate Housewives.” Her last starring TV role was as Maxine Robinson on the VH1 series “Daytime Divas,” which aired for one season in 2017.
