HEBER CITY, Utah, May 15, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — One person is dead after a crash on U.S. Highway 40 eastbound near Heber City Wednesday morning.

“Expect delays on U.S Highway 40 eastbound near Heber City as troopers are investigating a critical injury crash involving a passenger car with a single occupant/driver who drove into the back of a slow moving commercial vehicle and rolled,” said a tweet from Utah Highway Patrol at noon.

Minutes later, officials tweeted: “The driver of this vehicle has succumbed to his injury.”

The deceased person has not been identified pending notification of family.
