OGDEN, Utah, Dec. 6, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Two people were injured after a three-vehicle crash on Wall Avenue in Ogden Thursday morning.

Ogden Police Department Lt. Chris Kovalsky told Gephardt Daily the crash happened in the area of Wall Avenue and 20th Street just after 8:10 a.m.

Kovalsky said a car was heading northbound on Wall Avenue when the driver lost control for an unknown reason. The car spun out and crossed over the median, where it collided with a vehicle that was traveling southbound.

The second vehicle then crashed into a building. A third vehicle that was heading southbound then impacted the first car, which was still in the southbound lanes.

The drivers of the first and second cars sustained non-life threatening injuries; both were taken to area hospitals by ground ambulance.

There were no other injuries reported.

Kovalsky said at this time the cause of the crash is under investigation and it’s not clear why the first driver lost control of his vehicle.

The crash caused the closure of Wall Avenue in both directions. It has since reopened.

Gephardt Daily will have more on this developing story as information is made available.
