Developing: 3 killed in Utah highway crash

GREEN RIVER, Utah, Feb. 22, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Three people died Tuesday night in Green River when a pickup rolled multiple times.

According to information released by the Utah Highway Patrol, a red Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck was westbound on Interstate 70, near mile post 165, at about 9:24 p.m., when the vehicle went off the left side of the roadway.

The driver steered back onto the road, but over-corrected. The vehicle went back off the left side, into the median, and rolled several times.

One male was ejected from the truck, and a male and female remained inside the vehicle. Those inside the pickup were dead when medics arrived. The man ejected died shortly after CPR was begun.

The people killed were driver Rae Marie Eskew, 66, and passengers Thomas C. Outson, 46, and Christopher Catfish Mallang, 47. All were from Everett, Wash.

The investigation is ongoing, according to the UHP.
