A Man is in Critical Condition After Drifting into a Median
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – April 12, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Sunday at approximately 6:59 p.m. a 1997 White Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck was heading northbound on I-15 near milepost 353.
The driver was in the inside lane when he drifted into the median losing control of the vehicle.
The truck swerved back across both lanes of I-15 northbound and went off the right shoulder on the east side of I-15 and then rolled at least twice.
When the vehicle rolled the unrestrained driver was ejected and landed approximately 50 feet prior to the final resting point of the truck.
The male driver was a 32-year-old from Brigham City and appeared to be in critical condition. A medical helicopter was dispatched and I-15 NB was blocked for about 20 minutes while a helicopter was landed and rescuers loaded the patient.
He was transported to McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden.
