SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah, May 26, 2026 — An Amber Alert issued over the weekend for two Saratoga Springs children has been canceled after the boys were safely located Tuesday evening in San Felipe, Mexico, according to the Saratoga Springs Police Department.
Police said 22-month-old Will Richman and 10-month-old Wesley Richman were found with their father, Dane Stephen Richman, who is now in custody.
According to investigators, Richman has been charged in Utah’s 4th District Court with two counts of custodial interference.
The Saratoga Springs Police Department said the investigation was conducted in close coordination with the FBI, the Utah County Attorney’s Office, and the Utah Department of Public Safety.
“SSPD would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this case,” the department said in a statement, adding special thanks to the FBI “for their efforts and support.”
Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing and no additional information is being released at this time.
