Four units from the Logan City Fire Department responded along with Cache County Search and Rescue at around 3:30 p.m., the Logan department said in a news release.

To reach the injured man in Providence Canyon, crews had to hike up a steep hillside about 100 yards. His ATV had rolled a similar distance, coming to rest in the canyon in thick brush near a quarry.
