Brigham City police searching for suspect after convenience store theft

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah, Aug. 8, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Brigham City Police officials are searching for a suspect after a convenience store theft.

Brigham City Police Department posted surveillance video of the suspect to its Facebook page; the theft occurred in a Tesoro store and the time stamp on the video is Tuesday at 12:41 p.m.

The suspect is shown in the video apparently entering his credit or debit card information, at the counter, then it appears that he hits cancel on the transaction, grabs an item fromĀ  the counter, and runs from the store.

The man is Caucasian with short brown hair and a beard, wearing sunglasses with white rims pushed up on his head, an orange T-shirt with a white ‘Hurley’ logo and dark pants or shorts.
