IRON COUNTY, Utah, June 18, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews are on the scene of a new wildfire start in Iron County on Friday afternoon.
“New Fire Start: The lightning caused #FlattFire is located between Beryl and Enterprise and is estimated at 50 acres,” said a tweet from Utah Fire Info. “Crews are on scene.”
A follow-up tweet said: “Gusty winds have pushed the #FlattFire over the fire line. Evacuations are underway west of Enterprise. Additional resources are responding.”
At 5:43 p.m., Utah Fire Info tweeted: #FlattFire is now estimated at 1000 acres. Please avoid the area if possible.
