Draper man who died in OHV in Washington County accident identified

VIRGIN, Utah, Aug. 14, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A Draper man who died in an off-highway vehicle (OHV) accident Friday morning in Washington County has been identified.

William K. Farrar, 42, received fatal injuries after the OHV he was a passenger on hit an embankment and rolled.

The OHV was being driven by a juvenile relative who lost control on the private, unpaved road in the Kolob Canyon area, according to a Washington County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Emergency medical services and deputies responded to the scene at Kolob Mountain Ranch near Kolob Reservoir, said WCSO Lt. Dave Crouse. Farrar was deceased when crews arrived.

The driver and a second juvenile, who was a passenger, both were wearing restraints, and were not seriously injured, according to information released by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
