SANPETE COUNTY, Utah, May 15, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The family of a Sanpete County man who went missing May 10 says he has been found deceased.
The Sanpete County Sheriff’s Office posted May 15 that Jacob Christensen, 37, was last seen May 10 in the Ephraim area.
He was believed to be riding a red 2015 Polaris four-wheeler.
Saturday evening, Christensen’s family posted on a GoFundMe page set up to facilitate a search effort for the missing man.
The post said: “We are heartbroken to announce that we found Jacob and he has passed away. We are devastated but relieved to find him and are especially thankful for the teams of people who facilitated the search. Thank you for your willingness to help look for him, and also for all the love, care, and concern you’ve shown our family during this time.”
No further details were given about how Christensen died.
