HERRIMAN, Utah, May 16, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — The Herriman Police Department has its new police chief, replacing retired Chief Troy Carr.
The new chief is Cody Stromberg, who was approved by the City Council this week.
If he looks familiar, it’s because he was the interim chief after Carr.
Also, Stromberg was one of the original four members of the Herriman City Police Department when it was formed in 2018.
Stromberg has lived in Herriman for more than 25 years, and has spent most of his law enforcement career serving the Herriman community, a Herriman PD statement says.
