SUGAR HOUSE, Utah, April 24, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — One home has been evacuated after a gas leak in Sugar House on Wednesday afternoon.
The Salt Lake City Fire Department tweeted at 3:30 p.m. the gas leak occurred in the area of 1555 E. Stratford Ave.
“A 1/2” gas line ruptured due to construction, no reported injuries, traffic is only moderately affected,” the tweet said.
The building occupants are the only evacuees, the tweet said.
