DRAPER, Utah, March 11, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — An investigation is underway after a car collided with a house in Draper.

Draper City Police Department Lt. David Harris told Gephardt Daily an 18-year-old man was driving along Highland Drive, or 2000 East, in the area of 12152 South in Draper at approximately 11:30 a.m. Thursday when the vehicle left the road and crashed into a home.

The driver was transported to Intermountain Medical Center in stable condition with non life-threatening injuries.

There was no one in the home at the time of the crash.

Harris said it’s not clear at this time why he plowed into the house.

“Right now we are just trying to figure out why and we’ve got officers going down to IMC right now to interview him,” Harris said.

Gephardt Daily will have more on this developing story as information is made available.
