
LOGAN, Utah, July 21, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Logan City police have taken a wanted man into custody after getting information about his whereabouts.
Police had issued a BOLO alert on July 13 for a 40-year-old man believed to be armed, dangerous, and named Benigno Quevedo-Contreras.
Through investigation, police say they learned the man’s name is Antonio Zarco-Orozco.
“In coordination with the Tremonton Police Department, LCPD officers located Zarco-Orazo in the Tremonton area,” says a news release issued Tuesday evening.
“He was taken into custody without incident, and is currently being held in the Cache County Jail.
Zarco-Orozco was booked on multiple felony charges, including aggravated kdinappign, aggravated assault, vehicle theft, domestic violence in the presence of a child forgery, and numerous misdemeanor charges, the CCSO statement says.
“Thank you to the public for your assistance in this case,” the statement says, adding that no additional information is being released at this time.
