Man dies in Plain City motorcycle crash

PLAIN CITY, Utah, May 5, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A 44-year-old man died Saturday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.

Plain City Police Sgt. Colby Ryan told Gephardt Daily officers were called to the scene on 1900 North at 12:10 p.m. The man lost control of the bike at 3150 West after failing to negotiate an S-curve.

Medical personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Ryan said the man wasn’t wearing a helmet.

The incident is still under investigation and no further details are available. The man’s name has not been released pending notification of family.
