TOOELE COUNTY, Utah, Sept. 29, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) —  A man died Friday when the pickup truck he was driving rolled multiple times on Interstate 80.

The pickup truck was eastbound on I-80 at milepost 51, near Knolls Recreation Area, according to a news release from Utah Highway Patrol.

The truck drifted off the left side of the roadway, and the driver corrected back onto the road but then overcorrected back off the left side, the news release states.

The vehicle rotated into a broadside skid and rolled multiple times, coming to rest on its wheels, facing west.

The driver, who has not been identified, was wearing his seat belt, but he suffered head trauma when the truck rolled, and died while medical personnel were treating him.
