SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Oct. 24, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A man is in stable condition after allegedly being assaulted at Jordan Skate Park in Salt Lake City.
The incident occurred at the park at 1000 S. 900 West at approximately 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.
“A man accompanied by several others approached another male at the Jordan Skate Park and an argument ensued between them,” the news release said. “During this altercation a suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim. The victim fell backward, striking his head on a utility pole.”
The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
All the suspects fled in a white Honda Accord. Multiple witnesses provided information and statements and the suspects were later located and were interviewed.
