WOODLAND HILLS, Utah, June 23, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews responded to the mountain northeast of Woodland Hills in Utah County after a side-by-side rollover Sunday afternoon.
A tweet from Utah County Sheriff’s Office just after 2 p.m. said deputies, Search and Rescue, and Salem Medical were dispatched to the incident.
A 61-year-old Salem man rolled his side-by-side more than 20 times, several hundred feet, in Water Canyon, a follow-up tweet said.
Salem Medical worked to stabilize the injured man in order to get him off the mountain.
Life Flight transported the victim to Utah Valley Hospital in Provo with injuries to his head, arms and body. The man is in serious condition, officials said.
