Man Who Hits Woman Bicyclist Immediately Makes Up For ItÂ

It was bit of a good news, bad news day for a Millcreek area bicyclist.
The bad news: her bicycle was destroyed after being hit by a passing motorist.
The good news: she was uninjured in the accident and the driver who hit her bought her a brand new bike before she could leave the accident site.
Unified Police say the accident happened around 3:50 p.m. at 4621 S 900 East as the woman bicyclist was leaving the Wal-Mart store parking lot.
The elderly driver who ran into her wasted no time in trying to make things right. He immediately bought her a brand new bike at the very same Wal-Mart she had just pulled away from.
The woman cyclist was grateful for the new bike.
She was also grateful she could peddle away.
The police investigation into the accident is ongoing.
