Motorcyclist in critical condition after crashing on I-215 on-ramp in North Salt Lake

NORTH SALT LAKE, Utah, Oct. 30, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A 23-year-old man was critically injured late Tuesday afternoon, when he crashed his motorcycle at a high rate of speed on the Interstate 215 on-ramp at Redwood Road.

The crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m., according to Utah Highway Patrol on Twitter.

South Davis Metro Fire responded to the scene, and a medical helicopter was requested to transport the injured man to the hospital.

The man was alone on the bike and was not wearing a helmet when he “crashed after going way too fast to negotiate the curve of the on-ramp. He’s now in critical condition,” UHP tweeted.
