WASATCH COUNTY, Utah, July 5, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries when he lost control of the bike on State Route 189 late Friday afternoon.
The crash occurred at about 5:05 p.m. on SR-189 near milepost 23, six miles south of Heber City, according to a Department of Public Safety news release.
The motorcycle was southbound when, for an unknown reason, the rider lost control and went off the road to the right, striking the guardrail.
The single, male rider had life-threatening injuries to his head and torso and was flown to the hospital by Life-Flight.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
