MORGAN COUNTY, Utah, Jan. 1, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — One person was transported to an area hospital after a spinout in Weber Canyon, a Thursday statement from Mountain Green Fire says.
“Slow down a bit in the canyon! Freezing rain and ICE is making a mess,” Mountain Green Fire said in a social media post.
“We just responded on this spinout, one person transported non-life-threatening. UHP just responded on another slide off and another spinout.
“Temp is right at freezing, plows are out but there hasn’t been enough freezing temps lately to put salt down and build up those layers of salt we are used to.
“Happy New Year, take it a little slow in canyons and on bridges.”
