MORGAN COUNTY, Utah, April 1, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Mountain Green Fire responded to a rollover on Interstate 84 near the Morgan County rest area on Monday afternoon.
Utah Highway Patrol reported that an SUV struck a dump truck, lost control and rolled several times, landing on its top, a Mountain Green Fire news release says. .
“The SUV occupants were able to unbuckle their seatbelts and exit the vehicle,” the release says. “Seatbelts kept the occupants in their seats and saved their lives.”
Morgan Fire & EMS also responded, and assisted in assessing the occupants for injuries. No one was transported to the hospital. Firefighters also assisted in traffic and hazard control and scene clean up.
