Update: Officials locate 3 males alleged to have set fire in West Haven Sports’ Park restroom

WEST HAVEN, Utah, June 2, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Weber County Sheriff’s officials were searching for three males who allegedly started a fire in the restroom at the West Haven Sports’ Park.

Later on Sunday, the sheriff’s office posted on Facebook:

“With the help of all of you, we were able to identify all three males that were involved in the fire in West Haven. Appropriate action has been taken.

“THANK YOU to everyone who assisted in providing information and sharing our post.”

The incident at the park, at 4215 S. 3900 West, occurred Saturday, according to a Facebook post from Weber County Sheriff’s Office.

“The three males lit fireworks off in the bathroom causing a fire and severe damage,” the post said. “If you can identify any of the males, please contact our dispatch at 801-395-8221 and reference case 19WC14285. You can also instant message this page. As always you can remain anonymous.”

In surveillance photos and video, one male is wearing a navy blue and white bandanna around his head, a blue T-shirt, black shorts and black sneakers. The second is wearing a black T-shirt, black jeans and black and white sneakers, and is carrying a black and white backpack. The third is wearing a camouflage print T-shirt, black shorts and gray or white sneakers. The three appear to be juveniles.
