WEST JORDAN, Utah, Sept. 12, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Two people were transported to the hospital Tuesday night after a multi-vehicle crash on Mountain View Corridor.

Lt. Jeremy Robertson, West Jordan Police Department, told Gephardt Daily the accident happened at about 9:20 p.m., when a vehicle changed lanes on southbound Mountain View near 7500 South.

“Witnesses said the car was speeding, or going faster than the other traffic at least,” Robertson said. “The male driver changed lanes, struck another vehicle, and pushed that vehicle into the median, causing it to roll several times.”

Another car, driven by a woman, was approaching the scene of the crash, and when she tried to stop, her car was hit by the vehicle behind it.

Robertson said the driver of the car that was changing lanes was transported to the hospital, as was the driver of the vehicle that rolled.

All four people involved in the accident were in good condition, Robertson said.
