Residents evacuated from Draper Care Center during fire response

DRAPER, Utah, April 29, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Residents were evacuated from the Draper Rehabilitation & Care Center late Wednesday morning, and firefighters responded to the scene.

The site is at 12702 S. Fort St.

One resident was transported to the hospital for evaluation, the Draper City Fire statement says.

The remaining residents were taken to shelter at Draper Elementary.

As of 2:09 p.m., the Care Center residents had been transported back to the facility.
