DRAPER, Utah, June 15, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A juvenile riding an electric motorcycle was critically injured Sunday night after colliding with an SUV in Draper.
The crash occurred at about 10:15 p.m. near 1000 East and Draper Parkway, according to Draper Police Sgt. Simons.
Simons said the electric motorcycle was traveling westbound while an SUV was traveling eastbound and turning north when the two vehicles collided in the intersection.
The juvenile rider was transported to a hospital in critical condition which was later reported as “critical but stable.”
The rider was the sole occupant of the motorcycle and was wearing a helmet, police said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
