Police Seek Suspect After Aggravated Robbery With Knife

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 8, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly robbed the same 7-Eleven at knifepoint twice in two nights, at the same time.

The 7-Eleven located at 2700 South Adams Street (430 East) was robbed on Sunday, Dec. 6 and Tuesday, Dec. 8 at approximately 3:15 a.m.

South Salt Lake Police said in a press release the store employee told police the suspect said “put the money in the bag” as the suspect brandished a four to ten inch fixed blade knife. In both robberies the employees followed the suspect’s demands and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect ran away on foot.

The store employees were not injured during the robberies.

The suspect was described as a white male, 180-230 lbs., six feet tall, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray baggy sweat pants, gray tennis shoes and a red bandana over his face.
